Conservatives have been accused over the past year of having an “Obamaphobia” that was preventing them from seeing the enlightenment of the liberal agenda being forced upon us. Protesters having tea parties and asking tough questions at town hall meetings were vilified and called everything from Nazis to terrorists. The left viewed these dissidents as people who were unworthy of respect and deserving of any kind of low blow, no matter how foul. They dismissed them as extremists and continued with their plan to socialize America.
This election will send a strong message that the dissent is not of the right wing extremists but a majority of the nation. The question is will the liberal elite listen. Time will tell.
This is a time for conservatives to keep calm, take a deep breath and keep our eye on the ball. The time is right for a new leader to emerge from the Republican ranks to guide the party in a unified path back to the conservative ideals of free market and entrepreneurship.
