The “victim”, Ahmed Hashim Abed, was not just an American-hating murderous Muslim terrorist -- he was the mastermind and ring leader of the ambush, murder and mutilation of four Blackwater contractors. The fact that these men were unarmed citizens shows the true cowardice and brutality of the enemy these Navy SEALs were facing. This barbarian was the Most-Wanted terrorist in Iraq, was code named “Object Amber” and these elite fighters should be hailed as heroes not prosecuted.
Now for the military to bring up charges against these sailors, they either believe the terrorist or they believe they have enough evidence to convict them otherwise it would be unethical. Regardless, these charges are a disgrace.
Not only is it disgusting that these charges were ever filed, but what is the message we are sending throughout our entire military establishment. I would liken it to the Obama Administration attack of the CIA. Our elite fighting forces, just like our intelligence community, must live on the edge to effectively protect our interests. They hunt these murderous bastards far from friendly forces in the land these bad guys call home. Can we really afford to have our Special Forces fearing the loss of their careers – or worse Leavenworth – while they are out on their putting their lives on the line defending freedom? Absolutely NOT.
So, again I ask of the U.S. Military leadership, what the heck are you thinking?

Gee, is it any wonder the war on terrorism is high-centered? This kind of nonsense is just plain nuts.
Welcome to the age of political correctness via the Obama Administration. One word from the Commander In Chief and this would all go away!
No such luck I'm afraid.
