Obama INTERPOL Executive Order - Surrenders US Sovereignty

On December 16, and very quietly I might add, President Obama signed Executive Order — Amending Executive Order 12425 that grants the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) rights on U.S. soil that place it beyond the reach of our own law enforcement agencies including the FBI.  Why!?  For what possible reason would he take such an act of surrendering American sovereignty?

This Order rescinds protections put in place by President Reagan in 1983 and allows INTERPOL the authority to bypass Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.  The FOIA was put in place to safeguard against government abuse by allowing for the full or partial disclosure of previously unreleased information and documents controlled by the United States Government.  So what does all this mean?  Well, unlike with our own government, Americans will not have access to “properties and assets”, including documents, held by this organization.

Andy McCarthy points out at National Review that the boundaries that Obama removed are “what prevents law-enforcement and its controlling government authority from becoming tyrannical.”

McCarthy goes on to describe Obama’s egregious act as:

This international police force (whose U.S. headquarters is in the Justice Department in Washington) will be unrestrained by the U.S. Constitution and American law while it operates in the United States and affects both Americans and American interests outside the United States.

It appears that President Obama is intending to push for American citizens to be subjected to the authority of the International Criminal Court (ICC).  Opening the door for US soldiers and US officials to be dragged into War Crime trials.  Exposing them to arrest based on demands from any government, including enemy nations that sponsor the terrorists we are at war with.

I really should not be surprised, but I am.  Obama’s willingness to put American soldiers’ lives in the hands of a corrupt international community could also be brought to bear against his political adversaries.  The left has long branded the Bush administration as “War Criminals” for actions taken in the Global War on Terror (GWOT).  President Bush and Vice President Cheney would obviously be at the top of the list.

I believe that come 2012, Obama’s incredible assault on the sovereignty that America has held dear for over 200 years will come to roost.

You need to come to my place tomorrow and see the video I posted. It's not about this, but it's about the American people rising to defeat this craziness. These people are nuts. Nuts. :(

Maybe somebody is finally going to pull a Mossad on Bush, Cheney, and the rest of those lying scum buckets, cuff 'em, put sacks of their heads and cart 'em to The Hague to pay for their savage lunacy.

Just saying. Wouldn't bother me a bit.
